Sustainable Single Family Residence

Architecture, Building and Structure Design Sustainable Single Family Residence by Nahian Bin Mahbub This is a single-family residence design based on a site in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The goal was to design a sustainable living space in one of the most populated, polluted, and busiest cities in the world. Because of rapid urbanization and overpopulation, Dhaka has very little green space left. To make the residence self-sustainable, spaces from the rural area like the courtyard, semi-outdoor space, pond, deck, etc are introduced. There is a green terrace with every function which will act as an outdoor interaction space and protect the building from pollutions.
