Global Hub Square Offices

Satoshi Itasaka

Architecture, Building and Structure Design Global Hub Square Offices by Satoshi Itasaka The team was asked to redesign their client offices that would have been move from Tokyo to a remote island. This island is said to be the first island created by a deity in Japanese mythology. The team imagined the temple as it might have existed. The resulting design is a series of graceful arches, with a large staircase at the entrance that, metaphorically, leads to heaven. The goal was to create an environment where people can feel the blessings of nature and work safely in cooperation with the residents.
