Architecture, Building and Structure Design Temporal Graft Multifunctional Ramp Gallery by Jungjae Park Temporal Graft is a lightweight timber armature linking Seoul's City Wall with adjacent alleyway neighborhoods, proposing preservation without displacement. A universally accessible ramp navigates the steep terrain, doubling as a gallery and porous buffer that filters tourist flow and protects residents' privacy. Inspired by traditional Korean spatial principles and informed by computational modeling, the design optimizes daylight, airflow, and thermal comfort. It reimagines architecture as a mediator between heritage preservation and everyday life.
