Architecture, Building and Structure Design The Rhythm of Light Public service center by Chin-Feng Wu For the exterior, the facade intimates the features of fish scales which possess a continuously regular structure. They are transferred into a serious of rhythmic and overlapping blocks that allow natural light seeping through the gaps. Together, the sunlight and shade create various expressions in a day. Inside, the linear wooden elements with illuminating concave are inspired by the stems and their sections of a plant, for their unique color schemes and textures. In the end, the idea was developed into an aesthetic language of lines weaving a dynamic visual sensation.
