Solaia Apartment

Architecture, Building and Structure Design Solaia Apartment by Yoshitaka Uchino Yoshitaka Uchino designs spaces where people feel natures such as light, wind, and rain. Inspired by architectures in the world,he intends to design spaces of plaza with nature. This apartment holds a court softly articulated it from the trees nearby by louvers. This court functions as a plaza, and stairs in the court functions as a street. His aim is to invoke communication in the open air space with light and wind between the residents.This is an attempt to create an environment where living spaces smoothly expand from every units to the public spaces.
