Architecture, Building and Structure Design GABLE HOUSE RESIDENTIAL FARM HOUSE PROJECT by BHERU JANGID On a large three-acre riverside plot of agricultural land near Surat, we have created a large 12,000 sq ft farmhouse that serves as a tropical escape for its owners. The farmhouse is a three-stored structure crowned with a prominent gabled roof. The roof is an important element as the gabled design has strong associations with tropical architecture. Another key element in this house which create a resort like ambience, was the elevated second storey swimming pool with its floating Gazebo.
