Architecture, Building and Structure Design BH International Residence Residential House by Colega Architects Sited on a corner lot in an affluent neighborhood in Los Angeles, the project embraces aspects and theory seen in the International Style and Modern Movement. The minimalist approach to the design is represented formally in the exterior though rational and volumetric expressions. The massing is defined by clean lines and careful articulation of volumes with contrasting materials. Internally, the layout is stripped down to clean spaces free of structure and open to one another. The project was an exercise in designing a house that encompasses a pure diagram while retaining its function.
