Mr Siu Kwok Kin Stanley

Architecture, Building and Structure Design Floral Pavilion Permanent Pavilion by Mr Siu Kwok Kin Stanley The inspiration of Floral Pavilion came from the Islamic carpet design. An extensive research on the historical and artistic importance of Islamic carpet is the key to create a hemisphere structure engraved with geometric patterns. During the day, a shadow is cast on the floor and form a physical impact as the carpet on the ground. During the night, LED strips outlined the pattern to set off the beauty of Sharjah starry sky.
