Tokin Tokin House

Osamu Hamada

Architecture, Building and Structure Design Tokin Tokin House by Osamu Hamada It is a housing plan for family of four. By inserting a through passage in the triangular site sandwiched between two roads, lifting the living space to the 2nd and 3rd floors realized the necessary parking space and living space. This became possible with a mixed structure of reinforced concrete structure and wooden structure. In the dialect of this region "tokin tokin" means "sharp". Because the facade has a unique shape with a sharp corner, it is loved by local residents and streeters.
