Architecture, Building and Structure Design Nurim Circuit Elevated Boardwalk by Colin Strydom Collaborative design effort between local consultants. Snake-like curvature boardwalk in a national park overlooking the town and river below. With remote access and steep site, most of the boardwalk was constructed of site and jointed together like Meccano. The boardwalk itself acted as scaffolding to maximize safety. Materials (steel, hardwood timber) was selected to minmize the risk of fire. Local indigenous artwork panels throughout. Unique experience to get in touch with nature and views.
